Design Passion

Mr. Santa Maria has it. You feel it when he talks, see his work or use the things (WordPress admin) he has designed. I find myself looking at his work and and writing as a greater and greater influencer.

Launch Jitters

Launching SnagIt's website gave me a couple jitters. But, so far, we are doing great. Ahhh.

Helvetica (the movie)

A very interesting movie about the spread and use of Helvetica, I highly recomend it. Great music too.

I am a digital artist, web specialist and marketing feather-weight. I also take pictures a lot, but do not consider myself a pro. Oh, and I love to cook. Design and art are my passions and I am happily employed by TechSmith, where I work as a Senior Web Designer.

Before joining TechSmith I held several positions (from intern to Associate Director of Web Communications) at Valparaiso University. Before working for Valpo I graduated from it's College of Arts and Sciences where I tended to focus on the Arts more than the Sciences...

From 2004 to 2007 I was the president of Birch Lake Studios a small web consulting firm that my former partner now runs that has been closed down.
